Detroit Sportbikes Bike Night – Chesterfield, MI
On Tuesday, September 8th, Josh Borne had a unique opportunity to hang out with the guys from Detroit Sportbikes. The group invited Josh to ride at their monthly meeting at Hamlin’s Sports Bar and Grill. It was a fun, laid-back evening. Detroit Sportbikes, Ride Staff Director Matt Calabrese and Sponsorship Director Gary Reschke, generously provided Josh with excellent company and a complimentary entree from Hamlin’s appetizing menu.
After a delicious meal, Josh entertained Hamlin’s obliging owner, staff and customers with a light-hearted freestyle demo. Josh quickly identified some wary girls in the audience by their anxious looks. He playfully coaxed them to participate in the fun. Close burnouts and teasing stoppies had the girl’s squealing and the guys laughing.
To show his professional control and technical talent, Josh invited Matt and Gary out into the street for figure eight burnouts. Drifting his chromed F4i mere inches away, Josh proved he knew what he was doing. The experienced rider threw a few high-fives to the Detroit Superbikers as he passed by.
A daring Tom with Diamond Photo caught all the action on film. The fearless photographer was no stranger to the pro-athlete freestyler. Diamond Photo is one of the official photographers of Borne Freestyle Entertainment. Always a perfect team, Josh rode close enough to fog up the camera with his exhaust, while a trusting Tom kept the shutter snapping.
“When a photographer trusts my experience that’s when the fun begins! It allows me to stoppie right up to the lens.” –Josh Borne
Borne Freestyle Entertainment and Josh would like to thank Matt Calabrese and Gary Reschke for inviting him to Detroit Superbikes’ monthly meeting and bike night. He also would like to thank all of Detroit Superbikes’ members for their support, and Hamlin’s for generously donating their bar for a little freestyle mayhem.
Josh Borne will compete in Stunt Syndicate’s Hot Import Nights Freestyle Challenge on September 11th in Columbus, Ohio and will perform at American Harley-Davidson’s Fall Open House on September 26th in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
