Big Daddy’s & DIR’s Charity Event – Maryville, TN
On Sunday, July 19th, Josh Borne was honored to be a part of the Dixie Iron Riders’ Poker Run for the Boys and Girls Club of America. Big Daddy’s Scoots and Sports graciously donated the entire bar for the event and provided food to benefit the charity. The successful event attracted some of the best seasoned riders in the southeast.
A beautiful summer night in the Appalachian foothills, provided the crowd with an indoor and outdoor entertainment area. Tearing it up outside, Josh Borne impressed the audience with precision stoppies on his CBR600 F4i. He even took it up a notch to appease the crowd when he blew out his tire on a burnout! Inside, the South Bound Band heated up the night with rocking tunes.
Everyone was out for the family, fun-filled night. Even a Big Daddy’s bartender tried her luck at having Borne perform a high speed stoppie up to her in the parking lot. A quick tap on the helmet told Borne to behave himself or there would be no drink specials after his riding.
“This was a really fulfilling and fun event for me. I am really big on charity work and the Dixie Iron Riders do a lot for the community. Everyone at Big Daddy’s was amazingly friendly. Big Norm and his staff were awesome! ” – Josh Borne.
Borne Freestyle Entertainment would like to thank Big Norm, Big Daddy, Chris Brewer, Big Daddy’s Scoots and Sports’ staff and the Dixie Iron Riders for inviting Josh Borne to perform at this year’s poker run. It was a treat performing for such an outstanding crowd.
In addition, Borne Freestyle Entertainment would like to thank Mr. Caleb for an excellent game of pool! Caleb is an amazing and inspirational young man. He is a unique 17-year-old. He is in need of a kidney. However, Caleb was a trooper during the evening and never let the rest of the bar know of his plight. He has had numerous surgeries and is enduring the painful but necessary process of dialysis. Caleb will need a new kidney to survive. If you are able to help this remarkable young man in anyway or know of someone who can, please contact us at info@bornefreestyle.com.
If you missed all the fun at Big Daddy’s Scoots and Sports, you can watch Josh Borne perform on July 24th & 25th at Monster Jam Freestyle Mania in Mobile, AL; on August 1st at Woodson Motorsports in Ft. Wayne, IN; or on August 9th at the Your Whip.com Bike & Car Show in Novi, MI.
